Fast Track Facts For Fall

Remember, 2″ vertical track for 7′ high doors measures 6’4″, or 76″. If you measure a track radius, this is the point where the level goes.

Clopay EZ-Set Springs – How to Remove the Spring Winding Cone From the Winder

Customers ordering Clopay EZ-SET springs from DDM should be very careful when removing the old spring from the winder.

Below are sequenced pictures of how coins can be used to get the cone off the winder without damaging the plastic clips that hold the cone in place:

Below: Loosen one side of the cone by carefully inserting a screwdriver and lifting

Next, insert two coins under the cone near the point it was loosened

Then, turn the winder clockwise until the other release point on the cone is accessible
