Returns on all products are accepted for up to 60 days unless they are dock leveler parts or special orders. If you are not sure whether your parts are returnable, please contact us first.
Torsion Springs. All the springs in our torsion spring database program are returnable. Special order springs that are not returnable include commercial and industrial springs with diameters over 2 1/4" and obsolete Bar Col and Crawford torsion springs with 1 13/16" and 1 25/32" inside diameters.
Extension Springs. The only extension springs that are returnable are the 25" springs for seven-foot high doors and 27" springs for eight-foot high doors with lifts up to 300 pounds. For example, if your door weighs 310 pounds the springs will not be returnable. One-piece garage door extension springs are not returnable.
Dock Leveler Parts. Except for many of the lower-priced items, a 15% restocking fee will be charged. The customer pays for the original shipping as well as for shipping to return the product. Please notify us before returning the parts to ensure your return is handled properly and that you ship them to the proper location. In many cases, we require an RMA.
All Other Garage Door Parts. These can be returned for up to 60 days if the item is in its original condition. The customer pays for the original shipping as well as for shipping to return the product. In order to receive credit, items must be returned to DDM Garage Doors, Inc., 1092 Carolina Dr. Unit 5, West Chicago, IL 60185, even if the products were shipped from one of our suppliers at a different location. If the customer refuses the shipment, the cost of returning the parts to our supplier and also to West Chicago will be deducted from the credit.

Due to the Coronavirus and the Delta varation, however, we are continuing our local order pickup policy at our West Chicago location. To pick up an order you will need to order first. The quickest way is to order in advance through our online shopping cart. There you can select the local pickup option. Or, you can call 630-293-1337 for assistance, to confirm availability of parts, and to place your order. Once ordered, your parts will be available for pickup in the lobby of our north side front entrance. Longer items will be picked up on the south side loading dock.
