Residential Drill Spring Winder for 1-3/4

The winder mounts in the center of garage door torsion spring shafts, and doubles as a Spring Anchor Bracket. The left wind spring is mounted to the right of the winder and the right wind spring mounts to the left. The Residential Drill Spring Winder is available for 7' and 8' high garage doors, for both left and the right wind springs.

The Residential Drill Spring Winder is designed to make it easy for the DIY homeowners to safely wind their torsion springs.

The Residential Drill Spring Winder works with standard 1-3/4" and 2" inside diameter springs that are available on our Standard Garage Door Torsion Springs page. For information on how to measure a spring's wire size, see our How to Measure Torsion Springs page.

Note: The winder can be used for three complete wind and unwind cycles of springs.
