Canada

Greetings, Canadian customers!

To get started, there are a few things you should know. All prices on the site are given in US Dollars. All fees connected with the international transaction, such as duty, taxes, or brokerage fees when applicable would be assessed and paid separately from the DDM invoice total.

Shipping is by either USPS (Priority Mail International) or by UPS.

When shipping by Canada Post, most packages come in duty-free. Going this route, the administrative fee for taxes, etc., is $8.00. Add the usual provincial sales tax for your province, and you are good to go.

For UPS shipments the following applies.

Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer’s behalf.

Your order will be shipped under UPS’s e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD$200 shipped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD$ 10, plus any applicable duties and taxes. Shipments valued at CAD$200 and above and/or being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur additional fees.

Please, be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery. You have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.

If you are receiving a personal shipment at your place of work, the label must have a line stating that it is in care of you. If there is no line with your name on it, you may be billed additional brokerage fees.

If paying by PayPal account, we will email you a link to PayPal and your invoice in a PDF format.
If paying by credit card, you have two options:
  • Pay online. We will email you the invoice and a link for payment. Credit card transactions are secured by PayPal, but do not require that you have a PayPal account.
  • Pay over the phone. You can call DDM with your credit card information.

The time frame for standard delivery usually ranges from two to 10 days depending on your choice of shipping.
