That time He was creating not simply a man but the Man who was to be Himself: was creating Man anew: was beginning, at this divine and human point, the New Creation of all things. This is an excellent summary of a book my wife and I are reading for Christmas this year. It’s titled On the Incarnation<\/em><\/a> by Athanasius. In the 40 pages, he answers the question, “Why do Christians celebrate Christmas?” It’s not a quick read, but if it takes you the rest of your life to understand the book, it will be worth every hour you invest in reading it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
