I started work at DDM in the fall of 2022, but I met Dan Musick, the company&#8217;s founder, at a wedding in 2017. At a later wedding in 2022, he remembered the earlier conversations and he offered me a position at DDM Garage Doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to working for DDM, I had contributed to the <a href=\"https:\/\/worldventure.com\/blog\/\">WorldVenture blog<\/a> as a freelancer, writing articles about <a href=\"https:\/\/worldventure.com\/gods-unusual-intervention-in-the-book-of-jonah\/\">Jonah<\/a> and &#8211; aptly, for someone named Philip Kendall &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/worldventure.com\/philips-letter-to-bethsaida\/\">Philip the apostle<\/a>. I also wrote devotionals for WorldVenture: for <a href=\"https:\/\/worldventure.com\/simple-christmas\/\">Christmas 2020<\/a> (titled, Cultivating a Joyful Heart), for <a href=\"https:\/\/worldventure.com\/christmasjoy\/\">Christmas 2021<\/a> (titled, A Gift of Hope), and for the <a href=\"https:\/\/worldventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/WorldVentures-30-Days-of-Prayer-for-our-Muslim-Neighbors-2021-hi-rez-rv2.pdf\">Thirty Days of Prayer<\/a> devotional (titled, Not Yet&#8230;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While I was in High School, I participated in the school <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flipsnack.com\/roarmagazine\/\">literary magazine<\/a>, eventually becoming the editor-in-chief my Senior year. I also spent a summer working with the high school maintenance crew: cleaning and lubricating the old lockers, helping build new ones, and setting up the classrooms with desks, chairs, and supplies for the coming school year. Both these roles were good practice for working at DDM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m currently double-majoring in International Relations and Communication, with a minor in French.
