This modification allows the operator to close immediately after opening and to open immediately after closing. LiftMaster Operators have built-in timers that can be set to close the door at a prescribed time after opening. For other applications, we provide another <a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/parts\/part\/OT-UNVTIMER.html\">timer<\/a> that has multiple increments of 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc. seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/uploads\/2020\/09\/OT-UNVTIMER.jpg\" alt=\"An image of a Universal Garage Door and Gate Timer. \" class=\"wp-image-4543\" width=\"345\" height=\"229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/uploads\/2020\/09\/OT-UNVTIMER.jpg 720w, https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/uploads\/2020\/09\/OT-UNVTIMER-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong>This timer is easy to set, but the timing is in larger increments.<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, LiftMaster, PowerMaster, and Link operators used 24 volts to power the secondary circuit that included the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/qLEZOQmZG6Q\">limits<\/a> and the open, close, and stop switches. Because of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=4679&amp;action=edit\">lower voltage<\/a> in the new operators, the counter needs to access the 24 volts coming from the secondary of the transformer.
