Usually, the first two digits of a serial number denote the factory that made it. For example, 01 denotes the Clopay plant in the town of Russia, Ohio. The model number is six digits long. It is either in the middle or at the end of the serial number, depending on the year the door was produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Clopay doors built after 2004, the first six digits of the PID are the model number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
