This is especially true in our industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Costs directly increase since China exclusively makes many <a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/parts\/\">garage door parts<\/a> such as <a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/parts\/rollers.html\">rollers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/uploads\/2018\/05\/garage-door-rollers-300x139.jpg\" alt=\"Four garage door rollers are shown, they include: Steel Truck Door Roller,  Steel Roller with Zinc Stem, Nylon Roller with Zinc Plated Stem, and Nylon Roller with Stainless Steel Stem.\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/parts\/rollers.html\">Garage door rollers<\/a><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We hope to limit the increase in our garage door parts prices to around eight percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The same increase of about eight percent is true for our<a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/dock-leveler-parts\/\"> dock leveler parts<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/uploads\/2018\/05\/rite-hite-dock-leveler-parts.jpg\" alt=\"A RiteHite holdown and ratchet bar used with dock levelers.\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">A dock leveler holdown and ratchet bar<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The United States makes all of our <a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/springs\/garage-door-springs.php\">garage door springs<\/a>, but because of competition with imported steel, prices for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/2020\/03\/02\/half-baked-torsion-springs\/#h-the-importance-of-baking-torsion-springs-properly\">US-made<\/a> steel torsion springs have risen twice this year. As a result, on Monday, June 18, we will be increasing our prices by about 15 percent to cover these two increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ddmgaragedoors.com\/blog\/uploads\/2018\/05\/torsion-spring-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"A garage door torsion spring whose length is 24 1\/4 inches with a 0.218 wire.
