Push Down Bumper Springs<\/strong> start the door on the down cycle by pushing on the top of the door.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackshaft openers such as the Liftmaster 8500 or the 8500W turn the torsion shaft to operate the door. Under certain circumstances, it is advisable to use pusher springs <\/a>to help the door close if the door cables come off the drums as the door begins to close.<\/p>\n\n\n
