Garage Door Weatherstripping: Bottom Inserts
Garage door weatherstripping bottom inserts have two shapes to the ends: "T" and Bead. The T-shaped ends fit in the bottom inserts that we sell, while the bead ends can be used on existing retainers. The bead inserts are wrapped into a U-shape to slide into the retainers. One type of black astragal is 3" wide and has 1/8" beads. The rest of the beads are 3/16" and colored grey. They come at 1-1/4", 3", 4", and 6".
The T-shaped ends come in both vinyl and black rubber. The rubber bottom inserts come in widths of 3", 4", 6", 7", and 9". These weatherstripping inserts are also wrapped into a U shape to slide on the bottom retainer. Other bottom inserts wrapped into a U with T-shaped ends are made of vinyl. These come at 3", 3-3/4", and 4" wide. There is another gray vinyl that has two "T's" on each end, which is 3-1/2" wide (BITV-312G). Depending on the width of the seal, these come in gray, white, black, and yellow.
We sell other weatherstripping seals for bottom retainers that are bulb-shaped. They are all gray, and come in 1/2", 1" and 1-1/2" diameters.
The first price listed below is the unit price for one foot. For example, to determine the price of 16 feet multiply the unit price by sixteen. The price per foot decreases if you buy longer lengths of weatherstripping.
