Service area for commercial service calls includes the city of West Chicago, including the unincorporated areas, and the remainder of DuPage County east of Rt. 59, excluding Wayne, Bartlett and Streamwood. For parts or service in Kane County north of North Aurora, Northwest Cook County; Lake, DeKalb and McHenry Counties call Area Door at 847-931-4466. Service hours for local repairs are 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM M-F and 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday. We also take emergency calls during the night, but calls after 9:00 PM are billed at $144.00 per hour. Service calls for commercial garage door repairs are billed at $96 per hour, including a maximum of 1/2 hour travel. The minimum service call is for one hour. Warranty for service includes 90 days parts and labor. Warranty coverage is based on normal use and does not cover abuse or acts of God. Standard company procedure is to clamp, measure, and rewind your broken garage door spring as a temporary repair until the new springs can be ordered. This allows the customer to continue using the door until the new spring or springs arrive. Hourly rates apply to clamping the spring. If we have the spring in our truck inventory, however, it will not be necessary to clamp the spring. |
